Maplehurst Bakeries, a Brownsburg, Ind.-based division of Weston Foods Ltd., Canada, announced plans to build a 173,000-square-foot commercial bakery in Nashville, Tenn. The new plant can bring in up to 147 new jobs, and is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2016.

The new facility will be used for warehouse, distribution and manufacturing operations of donut production to service customers across North America and the world.
