Chicago-based Coveris acquired Supraplast, a shrink sleeve and adhesive label technologies company based in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Supraplast offers shrink sleeves, self-adhesive labels, safety seals and PVC and PET shrink films for value-added, end-use markets such as food and beverage.

This acquisition will afford Coveris an opportunity for expansion and growth in the South American region.
