Powerhouse Dynamics, the Newton, Mass.-based creator of SiteSage enterprise asset and energy management system, expanded its mobile application with new workflow and task management capabilities for a variety of business operational processes.

This expanded functionality is combined with an integrated Bluetooth temperature probe and SiteSage’s fixed sensor network to significantly broaden the food safety functionality available through the SiteSage Smart Kitchen module, which enables full automation and digitization of the HACCP reporting process and supports customizable daily HACCP tasks, along with corrective actions, thresholds and protocols. These tasks span manual temperature measurements as well as non-temperature-related HACCP “checklist” items, and are fully integrated with the SiteSage fixed sensor network as well as its alerting and notification engine.

SiteSage combines enterprise-wide equipment controls with granular monitoring and patented analytics to deliver energy and equipment maintenance cost savings for restaurants, convenience stores and other small commercial facilities across North and Central America.

The new SiteSage mobile workflow/task management function is fully configurable and can be used to support processes beyond food safety such as inspection and maintenance schedules, the management of delivery intake, documentation of start-up and shut-down processes and more.
