AdvancePierre Foods, Cincinnati, added the Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich to its Pierre brand product offerings.

The Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich layers three full slices of yellow and white American cheeses between two slices of thick, grilled bread, then wrapped in a brown paper package that features a susceptor lining for microwave crisping and a full-length window for customer viewing.

“Our customers have asked us to add a grilled cheese sandwich to our product line, and we’ve delivered,” says Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels. “This lunch, dinner and snack favorite is a classic for a reason – it’s a satisfying meatless option and its great taste appeals to all consumers.”

The Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich is sold 12 to a case and boasts a 14-day refrigerated and 9-month frozen shelf life.
