Handsome Brook Farm, LLC, Franklin, N.Y., announced plans to invest $6.4 million in a new pasture-raised egg processing operation in Berryville, Va. The facility, which Handsome Brook Farm purchased from Winchester Cold Storage, Winchester, Va., was converted into an egg processing facility, and is projected to create 105 new jobs.

Handsome Brook Farm is said to be the only provider of 100% pasture-raised eggs certified by the American Humane Association. It provides high-quality eggs to customers in 48 states, available at many major retailers, including Harris Teeter, Kroger, Publix and Wegman’s.
