Larson Electronics, Kemp, Texas, released a new general area use high-bay LED light fixture that provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional gas burning luminaries.
The GAU-HB-200W-LED-WP high-bay LED light fixture is constructed of copper-free aluminum alloy powder coated for added durability and corrosion resistance. The 12 light-emitting diodes are protected by a polycarbonate lens and produce 110 lumens per watt. This high-bay light fixture also provides 22,000 lumens of high-quality light while drawing only 200 watts of power. This unit is constructed with LEDs from Cree, Durham, N.C., and the special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve a 50,000-hour rated lifespan with 70% lumen retention.
