Canada-based Happy Planet launched new “Local Faves” all-natural fresh soups, created to capture the essence of hearty Canadian comfort food with flavor profiles that evoke cherished memories.

The Korean Hot & Sour kind boasts a rich broth full of kimchi and vegetables, infused with deep flavors of gojuchang and spices.

The Chicken Pot Pie variety is an ode to chicken pot pie; creamy, rich and full of vegetables, potatoes and the highest quality, organic free-range chicken meat from farms located in Kawartha Lakes region, Ontario.

And, the Tomato Grilled Cheese SKU is inspired by the all-time favorite lunchtime combo—tomato soup paired with a homemade grilled cheese sandwich.

“Since launching our Grab & Go fresh soup line last year, incremental listings of our Grab & Go Soups have proven to increase retailers’ overall sales of Happy Planet soups by up to 16%,” says Kelly. “So, with both the single serve and larger pouch formats and a mix of classic and innovative flavors, Happy Planet fresh soups are sure to bring excitement to the category – making both retailers and consumers smile.”

These soups come in a 500- and 650-mL pouch or 300-mL Grab & Go single-serve tubs, available in the refrigerated sections of grocery stores nationwide.
