The Refrigerated Foods Association (RFA), Marietta, Ga., presents its 37th Annual Conference & Exhibition, scheduled to take place Feb. 26 to March 1 at the Ritz-Carlton Resort & Golf Club, Amelia Island, Fla.
Titled “Your Guiding Light through Ever-Changing Consumer & Regulatory Demands,” this year’s conference will kick off with keynote speaker Ross Bernstein, a best-selling author of sports books, who will share insight into building relationships and creating a championship team of employees.
Chef, toxicologist and registered dietitian Suzy Badaracco, president of Culinary Tides, Inc., Portland, Ore., will discuss industry trends and how food industry players must understand the issues influencing food, flavor and beverage trends in order to successfully navigate and uncover white space.
Frank Yiannas, vice president of food safety for Wal-Mart, Bentonville, Ark., will discuss practical ways to direct behavior and improve food safety performance.
Shawn Stevens, global food safety lawyer and founding member of Food Industry Counsel LLC, Random Lake, Wis., will help attendees identify operation weaknesses and enhance food safety programs to help avoid food safety failures.
RFA technical director Martin Mitchell returns with his “Technical Update,” focusing on all technical and regulatory changes in the industry.
The conference will also include the popular one-on-one CEO sessions, which allow key decision makers of RFA manufacturer and associate members to meet face-to-face and discuss potential business opportunities.
The exhibition will allow key suppliers to showcase their latest offerings in ingredients, equipment, packaging and services.
