West Liberty Foods unveils new subsidiary, Liberty Free Range Poultry
The assets to be acquired from Crystal Lake Farms and Free Ranger will operate under the name Liberty Free Range Poultry, L.L.C.
West Liberty Foods, LLC, a West Liberty, Iowa-based private label manufacturer and foodservice supplier, announced that the assets to be acquired from Crystal Lake Farms and Free Ranger will operate under the name Liberty Free Range Poultry, L.L.C. The transaction is expected to close on or before April 28.
As a result, West Liberty Foods hired Gerald Lessard as president of the new subsidiary.
West Liberty Foods was named Refrigerated & Frozen Foods’ 2017 Refrigerated Foods Processor of the Year award.
