Oregon Fruit Products LLC, Salem, Ore., launched Pourable Fruit, a frozen diced fruit sauce that adds real fruit sweetness, aroma and texture to smoothies, waffles, cheesecake, ice cream, yogurt, beverages and more.
Available in Strawberry, Raspberry and Blueberry kinds, Pourable Fruit is made by hand-selecting fresh fruit picked at the peak of ripeness from farms around Oregon and the United States. It is then cold-pressed to maintain flavor and color.
“Pourable Fruit has been extremely successful in the foodservice market under the Fruit in Hand label for the past 10 years,” says Chris Sarles, chief executive officer. “We are thrilled to bring a similar product to the home market and see what delicious creations our customers come up with.”
Pourable Fruit is sold frozen in 18-ounce bottles, and can be found at 142 Fred Meyer stores across Oregon, Washington and Alaska for a suggested retail price of $7.99.
