Crocker & Winsor Seafoods expands into fresh pasteurized crab meat
By adding the refrigerated Jack’s Catch crab meat products to the catalog, customers can purchase smaller quantities than previously available.
Crocker & Winsor Seafoods, a Needham, Mass.-based division of Newport Organization, added Newport’s Jack’s Catch fresh pasteurized crab meat into its product offerings.
“While Crocker & Winsor has carried our frozen crab meat line for several years, the company’s expansion into fresh pasteurized crab meat is a natural next step following our recent acquisition of the company,” says Anjan Tharakan, president of Newport Organization. “We are now afforded instant access to over 1,000 new clients for our fresh crab products while for Crocker & Winsor, it is a previously untapped revenue stream among existing clients.”
