DuPont, Wilmington, Del., and Regina USA, Cambridge, Md., joined forces to launch Regina E-F.A.S.T. (ecological, friction-abating sliding thermoplastic) material, providing customers with a more environmentally friendly solution for high-speed filling lines.

E-F.A.S.T., boosted by a new grade of DuPont Delrin acetal homopolymer, is consistently low coefficient of friction over time, enabling customers to run filling plants while minimizing the use of lubricants.

The unique composition of this new Delrin grade ensures a “dry-running material” and a “green” conveyor solution, providing better working conditions due to less soap and water washdown hazards.
