Lundberg Family Farms, Richvale, Calif., entered the freezer aisle with the launch of new Organic Grainspirations Arancini frozen appetizers.
These gourmet rice bites are made with whole grain rice cooked risotto style, then rolled into balls and covered with gluten-free brown rice breadcrumbs and lightly fried to perfection.
They come in the following varieties:
Gouda & Mozzarella—brown rice stuffed with the finest cheese.
Black Rice—a unique blend of black and brown rice filled with savory cheese, sweet sautéed onion and crisp black pepper.
Gochujang—brown rice balls stuffed with peas, carrots, onions and sesame seeds – inspired by spicy Korean cuisine.
“Our goal is to provide versatile and convenient options for families and individuals to incorporate into entertaining or cooking routines,” says Grant Lundberg, chief executive officer. “For decades, we’ve been proud to grow and produce the highest-quality, organic whole grain products for the pantry. Now, consumers can find us in the freezer aisle too.”
These bake-and-serve stuffed rice balls can be popped in the oven at 450° for just 13-16 minutes.
Each box contains 10 stuffed rice balls, and is sold in grocers and retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $6.99.
