Church Brothers Farms, Salinas, Calif., is now in position to use 100% clean energy to power the True Leaf Farms salad making facility in San Juan Bautista, Calif.

The Church Brothers Farms’ clean power station, built by Concentric Power, Campbell, Calif., uses natural gas cogeneration to produce electric power and low-temperature refrigeration.

This marks the first time Church Brothers Farms/True Leaf Farms will be able to use all clean energy and reduce its overall energy intake while helping to slow climate change.

“Concentric Power’s exclusive approach to modular natural gas cogen refrigeration helped us invest in cleaner forms of energy,” says Tom Church, chairman of the board.
