ARCO Design/Build, Atlanta, announced plans to open a regional office in Charlotte, N.C., to will support industrial construction projects and clients based within North Carolina and South Carolina.

“Our expansion into the Charlotte region represents an important step in our continued growth, and we are extremely proud of the talented team that will launch the new office,” says Mark Mummert, chief executive officer.

The Charlotte office, which is scheduled to open Sept. 1, will be staffed by industry leading construction professionals with extensive design-build experience, including Ryan Farmer as regional manager, Eric Thompson as director of business development and Chris Nonneman, Elana Ji and Will Zerkus as project managers focusing on regional activities.

“We have been building significant client relationships in the Carolinas with a number of exciting industrial projects underway,” adds Thompson.
