Weber Logistics, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., opened three new California distribution centers to support client growth.
The most recent expansion includes warehouses in the following locations:
The 301,000-square-foot warehouse in Eastvale, Calif., is designed for food distribution, including 100,000 square feet of dedicated cool storage space. The FDA-registered food storage facility is subject to regular inspections by AIB International, and features 42 dock doors, 2 ground-level doors and a complete RF-enabled environment for fast, accurate picking.
The 42,000-square-foot distribution center in Long Beach, Calif., is located less than one mile from the Long Beach Port, and will primarily support Weber’s asset-based drayage fleet. The facility boasts a large container yard, with direct access to the SR 103 Terminal Island Freeway. Located within the Overweight Corridor, this drayage hub will also support transloading and weight reduction for overweight container loads.
The 126,000-square-foot facility in Union City, Calif., is dedicated to product distribution for a large paint manufacturer.
