Indiana Packers Corp. (IPC), Delphi, Ind., announced plans to acquire Specialty Foods Group, LLC (SFG), an Owensboro, Ky.-based manufacturer and distributor of KENTUCKY LEGEND premium boneless hams.

The acquisition positions IPC to leverage synergies relating to raw material utilization, manufacturing and sales and marketing capabilities. IPC also operates pork processing facilities in Holland, Mich., and Frankfort, Ind.
