Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, Ohio, opened three new sales and service locations to support growing material handling needs throughout South Carolina.

The facilities, located in Greenville, Columbia and Charleston, S.C., formerly operated as Carolina Material Handling Services. As part of the transition with the previous owner, the locations will continue to be staffed and supported by the former Carolina Material Handling Services team.

“The team at Carolina Material Handling Services has done a great job representing the Crown brand and providing excellent service and support to our growing list of customers in the state,” says Wayland Dabbs, general manager. “We are excited to begin this next chapter in Crown’s continued commitment to its customers in the region. No matter where they are located in the state, customers will have local access to Crown to collaboratively make material handling decisions.”

All three of the facilities provide a complete selection of material handling technologies, products and services, including forklifts, warehouse design solutions, Integrity Parts and Service System, automated warehouse solutions and Crown’s wireless InfoLink fleet and operator management system. They also provide Demonstrated Performance (DP) training programs for forklift operators, supervisors, trainers and pedestrians.
