The Terra Food + Agtech Accelerator program and its founding partners RocketSpace, a San Francisco-based external innovation consulting company, and Rabobank, a New York-based provider of financial services in the food, agribusiness and beverage industry, announced plans to bring onboard 17 startups from around the world to work alongside industry giants, including AgroFresh Solutions, Philadelphia, Pa.; Beta San Miguel, Mexico; GrainCorp, Australia; Griffith Foods, Alsip, Ill.; Grupo Azucarero Mexico/CULTIBA, Mexico; Nestlé USA, Glendale, Calif.; OSI, Aurora, Ill.; and Tate & Lyle, UK.

TERRA is a global innovation accelerator fueling groundbreaking transformation in food and agriculture to advance the well-being of people and the planet. The program brings together experts, decision-makers and innovators across the entire value chain.

The TERRA team reviewed hundreds of applications from emerging growth companies around the world to select startups from eight countries. Cohort III welcomes Anergy, Singapore; Bird Control Group, Wilsonville, Ore.; BoMill, Sweden; ClariFruit, Israel; EarthSense, Champaign, Ill.; Elio, Brazil; Good Spread, Boulder, Colo.; Here, Chicago; Jackson’s Honest, Crested Butte, Colo.; Miyoko’s Kitchen, San Francisco; Nutrifusion, Naples, Fla.; Opertech Bio, Philadelphia, Pa.; Phyco Health, Australia; Swarm Engineering, Irvine Spectrum, Calif.; TE-FOOD, Germany; Xtrem Biotech, Spain; and Zymtronix, Ithaca, N.Y.
