Farm Rich, St. Simons Island, Calif., introduced new Hand Pulled Pork Sliders and Hickory Smoked Hand Pulled Pork, available in the freezer section of select grocery stores nationwide.
The new products include:
- Hand Pulled Pork Sliders. Packed with 13 grams of protein per serving, the hickory-smoked, hand-pulled pork sliders come six to a carton and are complemented with a specialty-crafted sweet and spicy BBQ sauce on a soft roll.
- Hickory Smoked Hand Pulled Pork. Available with Chorizo-style seasoning sauce or honey bourbon BBQ sauce, the hand-pulled pork is slow-cooked by expert pitmasters at Farm Rich’s Gallatin, Tenn., plant. Each 16-ounce carton can be warmed in the oven or microwave for a simple, heat-and-eat meal option. These products are also gluten free.
“If you want truly authentic-tasting BBQ, you can't speed up the slow-cook process, but you can let the experts do most of the work,” says Shannon Gilreath, director of marketing. “With these new slow-cooked barbecue offerings all made at our Tennessee location, you’ve got delicious sliders for a quick protein snack or gluten-free, real BBQ for meals or last-minute cookouts.”
These items are available in the freezer section of Walmart stores nationwide, with the sliders offered at Kroger starting in November, for a suggested retail price of $5.98.
