Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), Chatham, N.J., announced plans to open Atlanta West later this month.

“The entire Atlanta team is ecstatic to begin receiving product at our new Atlanta West facility in just a few weeks,” says Ryan Laurent, regional director. “For the last two years, our customers have been looking for Preferred to expand our Southeast footprint for the Atlanta market. We are excited to deliver them a state-of-the-art facility as the holiday inventory build begins.”

The new facility will encompass 169,000 square feet of freezer and cooler space. Additionally, the cold storage warehouse will offer value-added services, such as transportation services and multiple consolidation programs.
