Kuna Food Service, St. Louis, Mo., acquired some assets of Hautly Cheese Co., a Fenton, Mo.-based marketer and distributor of cheese products.

Kuna distributes food products to independent restaurants, regional chains and national account partners, and will now distribute Hautly Cheese products to Eastern Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.

Hautly Cheese’s leased distribution center in Fenton also ceased operation.

In November 2018, Kuna broke ground on a $2.2 million, 30,000-square-foot warehouse and office in Dupo, Ill., which is targeted to open Jan. 27, with the office set for occupancy beginning March 1.
