OLIMP, Chicago, launched an online service for the warehousing and freight transportation industries.

"OLIMP offers clients a unique combination of services at the junction of daily warehousing, cross-docking on demand and last-mile delivery and fulfillment. We are working from one pallet and 1-day storage on demand," says Vlad Gasnikov, founder and CEO.

OLIMP opened a seed round to raise $2 million for R&D and to expand the nationwide network of partner warehouses for the online service, which is still in beta testing.

OLIMP also hired Andy Seidl, former enterprise relationship manager for LinkedIn, as new vice president sales and customer success.
