CCS (Carter Control Systems) has officially begun manufacturing operations out of a new 40,000-square-foot facility on Monroe Avenue in Frederick, Maryland.
In May of this year, CCS launched a brand-new Mobile Conveyor line and it quickly made a big splash in warehouses around the country. With over six linear miles already sold and plenty more on the way, CCS needed a new manufacturing facility to match the demand for this new type of conveyor.
The new Monroe Facility is a short drive from CCS headquarters in Frederick. It will run two shifts and employ 100 workers, and a return to Maryland manufacturing after several years of CCS's Coleman Plant in Savannah, Georgia, being the company's primary manufacturing site. The Coleman Plant will continue its regular manufacturing operations with the Frederick plant now open.
