Lineage Logistics, LLC, a Colton, Calif.-based warehousing and logistics company sponsored by Bay Grove Capital LLC, San Francisco, and Dreisbach Enterprises, Oakland, Calif., opened Lineage Cool Port Oakland, what is said to be the world’s most advanced cold storage and logistics facility.
This project allows GSF’s cargo trucks to stop idling their engines to keep food cold, and instead plug into power outlets at the facility.

Golden State Foods (GSF), Irvine, Calif., installed a total of 32 electric power outlets in its Garner, N.C., distribution center to cut costs and lower air emissions as part of a Duke Energy electrification project.
The project will bring 25 vehicles that are zero- or near zero-emissions to Port of Long Beach marine terminals for one year to test their performance in a real-world setting.

Over the next 10 years, GPA will invest approximately $2 billion in new cranes and terminal infrastructure to handle expanding cargo volumes.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C., completed outer harbor dredging at the Port of Savannah, Savannah, Ga., marking the midpoint of the Savannah Harbor Expansion Project (SHEP).
The 3.7-acre facility is located minutes from JAXPORT’s North Jacksonville terminals and offers flexible short- and long-term outdoor storage options for a variety of cargo.
