Blockchain spend in the agriculture industry increased at 129.3% during 2018 to reach $258 million, and is expected to record a CAGR of 48.8%, increasing from $524.8 million in 2019 to $8,489 million by 2025, according to a report produced by Research and Markets, Ireland.
For instance, Agriculture Capital reported significant improvement in water and energy efficiency across its vertically integrated citrus packing operations from 2017 to 2018.
