The 386,047-square-foot refrigerator/freezer distribution facility in Florence, South Carolina, will include 45 loading docks, a Cheney Express and the largest culinary kitchen the company has developed to date.
The project allows the company to extend its operations on the East Coast, continuing to provide high-quality custom-ripened avocados to restaurants, food distributors and grocery stores.

A M King provided property consulting for ALDI U.S. and designed and built the 564,000-square-foot structure, which includes cold storage, dry storage and packaging space.

Mission Produce has opened a 262,000-square-foot avocado ripening and processing facility in Laredo, Texas, the largest in North America. The plant also includes cold storage and packaging space. The building is located in Laredo’s Pinnacle Industry Center on 32.6 acres adjacent to the Rio Grande River and the Mexican Border. The new facility will allow Mission to capitalize on the continued popularity of its signature product in the nation’s busiest land port.
A M King has begun construction on a distribution center for Mexico-based GAB Operations in Laredo, Texas.
