Little Leaf Farms owns 180 acres in McAdoo and has rapidly grown to be the largest producer of indoor-grown leafy greens in the state. 

Baby Butter, Romaine, Crispy Leaf, Mixed Greens, and Spring Mix, under the Bowery Mehadrin brand, are now available. 

By summer 2023, Gotham Greens will own and operate 13 greenhouses, totaling more than 40 acres.

In the past year, Square Roots has deployed new, co-located farms on GFS distribution centers in Kenosha, Wisconsin; Springfield, Ohio; and now Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

Produce from the first Square Roots farm co-located with UNFI is intended to serve UNFI's retail customers in Wisconsin and Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro area.

Harvesting over 1,600 pounds of fresh herbs and salad mixes since August, the latest Square Roots farm celebrated a ribbon cutting on October 28. 

Revol Green's increase in romaine lettuce production is largely due to its new Texas facility that will produce upwards of 17 million pounds of greens annually upon phase 2 completion.

With the introduction of three salad kit flavors featuring forkable greens, bold flavor, and crunchy toppings from pepitas to parm crisps, Bowery is elevating the grab-and-go salad experience.

Located at the Gordon Food Service distribution center in Kenosha, Square Roots grows a wide variety of fresh greens, including herbs like Basil, Dill, Parsley, and Cilantro; microgreens; and salad mixes. 

The capital will support aggressive growth and expansion of farms and distribution, making Little Leaf Farms' local lettuces accessible to more than half of the country's population by 2026. Immediate expansion and a doubling of acreage comes with the opening of a new greenhouse in McAdoo, Pennsylvania this summer.
