American Flatbread has launched of a new line of plant-based, frozen pizzas called Meatless Evolution. The line, which includes vegetarian and vegan options, has been one of the most highly requested items by American Flatbread consumers. Their latest lineup appeals to consumers looking to limit their meat intake.
Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc. — a subsidiary of Schwan’s Company that offers trusted retail brands throughout the frozen-food category — has pushed forward in its innovation efforts and will launch five new products under the Red Baron, Freschetta, Edwards and Pagoda brands by October 2020.
Larger facility will also bring 225 new jobs to Salina, Kansas, and will continue to produce Tony's and Red Baron frozen pizzas.

The new facility will result in up to 225 new, full-time jobs by 2023 in Salina and include automated state-of-the-art pizza-production lines, shipping and receiving docks, and office space. The company already employs 1,125 people at its current 550,000-square-foot production facility and distribution center in Salina. Additional projects are planned for the Salina site over the next several years as Schwan’s plans for continued growth in the company’s pizza business, representing an investment of several hundred million dollars in total.

DiGiorno Croissant Crust Pizza combines multiple layers of light, flaky, buttery crust with the savory, melt-in-your-mouth goodness of pizza, and is the only croissant-style pizza available nationally in the frozen aisle. The indulgent offerings features three flavors, all topped with 100% real cheese: Pepperoni, Four Cheese and Three Meat.
New Smart Crust frozen pizza from Foster Farms is available in three varieties that will satisfy any pizza craving: Four Cheese, Uncured Pepperoni and Uncured Bacon Club. Each Smart Crust pizza cuts carbs down to 4 grams per serving while providing 25 grams of protein, because the unique crust is crafted from Foster Farms chicken breast, egg whites and cheese instead of flour.
Initial rollout starts in the Midwest, followed by the rest of the country through August.
