Syntegon has added a new member to its highly successful AIM 5 inspection range: the fully integrated syringe inspection line not only features a de-nester and a re-nester, but also comes with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) function by default.
The new Mettler Toledo X37 X-ray inspection system series was developed specifically to deliver efficient, cost-effective production line X-ray inspection of products in vertical packaging such as bottles, cartons, cans and canisters. The X37 system provides a highly adaptable solution that provides inspection of individual situations by offering a wide range of features. The new system also features higher-sensitivity sensors, which require lower 20W X-ray generator power consumption to complete its inspections. This eliminates the need for active cooling of the generator and reduces both Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and unit size.
Thermo Fisher Scientific, Minneapolis, developed the Thermo Scientific Xpert Heavy Duty (HD) X-ray Inspection System, which enables food manufacturers with difficult applications to easily detect a wide range of physical contaminants.
In an industry that supplies food to the public, retailers are the closest link to the consumer, and the first to suffer when food is found to be contaminated or improperly labeled.
Germany-based Eye Vision Technology (EVT), developed EyeVision 3D, which features a combination of different 3D sensors, such as automation technology or smart sensors, making it suitable for the inspection of fruits and vegetables.
