This spring, Walmart customers in Bentonville, Arkansas, will be able to have groceries from their local store delivered into a temperature-controlled HomeValet-powered smart box placed outside their home. This will make it easier for customers to schedule delivery without needing to be home to receive their products in order to keep them fresh.
This change will leverage the warehouse network that Nestlé already uses for its frozen meals and snacks.

Nestlé USA, Arlington, Va., announced plans to exit its company-owned frozen direct-store-delivery (DSD) network for its pizza and ice cream businesses and will transition to a warehouse model.
Davidson provides DSD services for over 6,000 specialty, kosher and ethnic products to independent and chain retailers across New England and the New York metropolitan area.
