Meat a new friend! Jack Daniel's Properties Inc., Louisville, is
partnering with Completely Fresh Foods Inc. (CFF), Montebello, Calif.,
on a national retail launch of Jack Daniel's ready-to-eat meat entrees.
New features at Hormel Foods Corp.'s consumer Web site (www.hormel.com) let consumers download and print their own coupons for retail deli sandwich meats (55 cents), pepperoni (55 cents), microwave bacon, party trays and even refrigerated entrees ($2.00).
The Really Cool Food Company LLC, a Cambridge City, Ind., processor of refrigerated entrees, sides and salads, has merged with Renaissance Food Group LLC.
Its global slogan reads, “Good Food. Good Life.” For that matter, CPG giant Nestlé S.A., Vevey, Switzerland, could take it further and add “good year” to the list.
