Nestlé USA, Solon, Ohio, expanded its quality assurance lab in Dublin, Ohio, which tests samples of DiGiorno pizza and Häagen-Dazs ice cream, among other brands, for foodborne pathogens, flags environmental contaminants and verifies nutritional claims.
Taking another cue from pizza restaurant offerings, product developers and marketers at DiGiorno (now part of Nestle Pizza) introduced a combination frozen DiGiorno pizza and breadsticks line.
Nestlé, Vevey, Switzerland, has agreed to purchase Kraft's frozen pizza business in the United States and Canada, including the DiGiorno, Tombstone, California Pizza Kitchen, Jack’s and Delissio brands.
