To expand its Northwest presence, United States Cold Storage (USCS), Voorhees, N.J., has constructed and now opened a 1.8 million-cubic-foot public refrigerated warehouse in Clearfield, Utah.

United States Cold Storage Inc., Voorhees, N.J., said it expects this July to open a $38 million distribution center in Lebanon, Ind.

Inland Cold Storage (ICS), Riverside, Calif., said it opened its sixth facility, a 4.5 million-cubic-foot frozen warehouse at the Port of Stockton in Stockton, Calif.

National retailer Wal-Mart Stores approved Hanson Logistics, St. Joseph, Mich., as a third-party consolidator for Wal-Mart suppliers.

"Fresh on the Go" is the name of a new refrigerated foods program now offered by c-store and chain restaurant distributor McLane Co., Temple, Texas.

Burris Logistics, Milford, Del., said it opened a 9.6 million-cubic-foot refrigerated and frozen food distribution center in Rocky Hill, Conn.

Design, engineering and construction services supplier Stellar, Jacksonville, Fla., said it completed a 260,000-square-foot expansion in Tulare, Calif., for United States Cold Storage (USCS).

Merchants Terminal Corp., Baltimore, said it has purchased land to build a 12 million-cubic-feet temperature-controlled distribution center adjacent to the Port of Baltimore's Seagirt Marine Terminal.
