The new facility is scheduled to be operational by late summer 2024. 

In the past year, Square Roots has deployed new, co-located farms on GFS distribution centers in Kenosha, Wisconsin; Springfield, Ohio; and now Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

It also includes a full-service demonstration kitchen and training center to support culinary innovation, as well as an interactive technology center where US Foods customers can learn about the company’s industry-leading, web-based business solutions.

The multi-temperature facility will have the ability to accommodate multiple food storage, manufacturing, and distribution customers.

Clayco, a full-service, turnkey real estate, architecture, engineering, design-build and construction firm, announced it has been awarded the design-build contract for Dollar General’s new distribution center in Blair, Nebraska. This marks the sixth distribution center that Clayco will build for Dollar General. 

Nature Fresh Farms has expanded operations with a new Distribution Center in Laredo, Texas, with future developments planned for next year. The new 61,000 square foot Distribution Center in Laredo, Texas, provides a new major hub of fresh produce. Since the opening of the facility, they have employed over 30 team members with more positions available for hire.
