EverCase aims to “disrupt freezing” – particularly in the commercial and retail spaces – providing extra shelf life in an effort to cut food waste and boost bottom lines, allowing companies “backend relief” on shrinkage, spoilage and transportation time.
The expansion brings another 1.7 million cubic feet of -10°F freezer storage, another 12,030 pallet positions and 12 additional refrigerated dock doors.

Preferred Freezer Services, Chatham, N.J., announced plans to invest $60 million to construct a 200,000-square-foot cold storage warehouse in Portsmouth, Va.
The state-of-the-art building will incorporate computer-controlled refrigeration, cool-roof technology, energy-saving dock design and high-efficiency insulation to minimize environmental impact.

Lineage Logistics, a Colton, Calif.-based warehousing and logistics company sponsored by San Francisco-based Bay Grove Capital LLC, acquired the assets of SCS Refrigerated Services, LLC.
