The Sacramento warehouse is fully racked with 65-foot refrigerated docks and multiple storage rooms, each with flexible storage temperature controls.
United States Cold Storage (USCS), Voorhees, N.J., opened the doors to its second facility in Sacramento, Calif., a move that brings additional needed capacity to the northern California market.
USCS built the 6.8 million-cubic-foot warehouse in the McClellan Business Park (formerly McClellan Air Force Base). The multi-temp (-20°F to 45°F) site offers more than 31,000 pallet positions, 20 dock doors and a rail siding served by both the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads.
