The new state-of-the-art facility is designed to support the movement of fresh produce from field to table, and will employ renewable energy and automation to maximize throughput, extend produce shelf life, and minimize costs. 

Demand for cold storage is soaring in Space City.

The new facility is scheduled to be operational by late summer 2024. 

High demand for cold storage space will undoubtedly continue throughout 2023, as food and beverage companies look to quickly increase capacity.

The building will be home to more than 30,000 pallet positions and will feature turret trucks running in very narrow aisles in order to maximize storage space.

 Building III marks Progressive Logistics’ second building in Mount Comfort Logistics Center. The warehousing and logistics provider leased a 505,872-square-foot building last year from Ambrose.

 The new IoT-enabled service automates the collection and transfer of energy data and provides customers real-time energy data that is necessary to improve facility performance and reduce energy cost and intensity.
