A 30-year veteran in the seafood industry, Lancaster has served as president of Stavis Seafoods since January 2021, after previously acting as vice president of sales, where the company saw tremendous growth under his leadership.

He will also be charged with executing the company’s growth strategy by driving sales, increasing operational and purchasing efficiencies and execution, expanding our brand across multiple channels and growing our retail and national account customer base and product capabilities.

Stavis Seafoods, Boston, Mass., entered a primary distribution partnership with R.W. Zant Co., Los Angeles, beginning Aug. 1, to include the warehousing and delivery of Stavis Seafoods’ products to R.W. Zant customers.
More than 95% of the fresh fish that is packaged by Stavis will be in the recyclable packages, replacing more than 1,100 unrecyclable and unreliable polystyrene and wax boxes used per day.

Boston-based Stavis Seafoods is opening an additional 40,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Peabody, Mass., effective March 6, to serve as the primary home for the company’s broad line of frozen seafood products.
This agreement will enhance Stavis’ supply chain options and significantly increase G&C’s seafood product line.
