The acquisition is intended to help accelerate the growth of Neogen's animal genomics business throughout Canada.

The state-of-the-art facility will enrich CSU’s teaching and research in meat sciences, as well as offer a space for industry collaboration through continuing education and training, equipment development and testing.

The 10x20 chicken house, part of the Animal Science Program, will have 99 chicks in each flock.
