United Supermarkets opened its newest location in Southwest Lubbock, making it their 12th store in the Texas city. Representing a true evolution for the United Family’s flagship banner, this is the next generation of United Supermarkets stores. Now the 97th location for the United Family, this store will bring all of the things people know and love while also showing off some the freshest concepts and partnerships the company has to offer.

Robert Taylor announced he will retire from the position of CEO of United Supermarkets, LLC, on March 1, 2021, and Sidney Hopper, president of United Supermarkets, will assume all of the responsibilities of the CEO. Taylor will continue in an advisory role for the company as Executive Vice-President/Senior Advisor.

H-E-B, in partnership with Favor Delivery, will launch a simple, low-cost solution that gives seniors access to their very own personal shopper by phone, allowing them to get essential food and supplies delivered to them, while remaining in the comfort and safety of their home.
