Interroll has laid the groundwork for a significant expansion of its product portfolio at its site in Baal-Hückelhoven, Germany, near Düsseldorf, by acquiring a neighboring plot of land. The new property, which is already home to an industrial building, covers a floor area of almost 13,000 square meters. As early as 2022, Interroll will introduce a new platform for hygienic food processing and logistics from the site and consistently expand it in the coming years.
Markus Wolf took over responsibility as Managing Director of Interroll Conveyor GmbH in Mosbach, Germany and both associated Global Centers of Excellence Conveyors and Pallet Handling. Most recently the 58-year-old Markus Wolf was the Chief Operating officer of a mid-sized company for driving shafts managing its seven production and assembly sites, located in Germany.
Steffen Flender has been named Managing Director of Interroll Automation GmbH. The 41-year-old Flender heads the Sinsheim, Germany, site and the associated global Center of Excellence Sorters. In this position, he reports to Jens Strüwing, Interroll Executive Vice President Products & Technology and member of the Interroll Group Management.
Interroll has completed construction on its second plant on their campus in Hiram (Atlanta) Georgia. The $11 million investment gives Interroll a substantial increase in capacity for the region.
