This year’s Pack Expo International will have special meaning with the SOMIC Packaging, Inc. team.

Since 2018, Once Upon a Farm has nearly doubled the number of outlets that sell its nutritious baby food and snacks for children.

 A 15-year industry veteran, he will serve as the technical advisor to customers with 24/7 online response for all troubleshooting and technical related questions. 

 This process validates the equipment is ready for installation at a customer’s property and ensures a smooth transition for immediate production capability. 

He is responsible for all machine installations and managing the service team which is being expanded.

Garrett Guinn, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and executive recruiter who switched careers and has spent the last 15 years in business development, sales and marketing, is SOMIC Packaging’s new western regional sales manager. 

SOMIC America has hired Ryan Schumacher as its new East Coast Sales Manager. Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, he reports directly to Peter Fox, Senior Vice President of Sales.

Already experiencing solid production results after installing two high-speed SOMIC case packing systems three months ago, OH SNAP! Pickling Co. has ordered a third retail ready 424 W3 wraparound machine. The compact, end-of-line unit is expected to be online in the second quarter of 2021.
