Driscoll Foods, one of the largest independent foodservice distributors in the tri-state area for nearly fifty years, has completed construction of a 3.5-megawatt DC rooftop solar photovoltaic system at its headquarters located in Wayne, New Jersey.
The solar installations will produce more than 65,000,000 kWh of renewable energy annually, enough energy to power nearly 5,500 homes and are expected to supply approximately 10-60% of each stores' overall electricity use.
