In a partnership with Daimler Truck North America, the company plans to deploy up to 800 battery electric Freightliner eCascadia Class 8 tractors serving Sysco customers by 2026.
Electrification, integrated shore power, embedded telematics and a lower-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant all contribute to Thermo King’s efforts in helping customers transition fleets to reduce their environmental impact and stay ahead of future regulation.
Mounted on a Lion Electric Lion6 chassis and utilizing a Thermo King all-electric refrigerated unit, the 24-foot truck body is constructed with state-of-the-art materials.
