In-house USDA import inspections will now take place at Lineage’s Jourdan Road cold storage facility in New Orleans East.

The facility is perfectly suited for handling frozen import/export commodities like poultry, seafood, produce, and other perishable products. 

The facility is located approximately 20 miles from the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports. 

The 26-acre site with Interstate 65 frontage is located in a Chicago submarket with immediate interstate highway access.

The upgrades in warehouse equipment reiterate the company’s commitment to ongoing improvements.  

The expansion will transform the current Hobart site with the addition of a fully automated warehouse spanning more than 188,000 square feet.

The facility, to be leased exclusively by FreezPak Logistics, spans over 20 acres, offering 53,000 new pallet positions. 

The cold storage provider has formally changed its brand name from Lineage Logistics to Lineage.

Lineage’s North and Southbound cross-border program enables both TL (truckload) and LTL (less-than-truckload) shipments between the U.S. and Canada, while connecting shippers to the company’s strategically located warehouses that comprise its North American LTL multi-vendor consolidation network. 

 Regions worldwide reported increased capacity and several new companies joined GCCA in the past year.
