The warehouse facility will be attached to Upfield’s New Century production plant through an above-ground conveyor bridge being constructed by Upfield and allowing its finished product to be delivered directly into the warehouse, with 100,000 square feet available for other customers.

Vitalus Nutrition Inc., a Canada-based dairy ingredient supplier, and Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Ltd., Canada, entered into a joint venture to process dairy ingredients and butter in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
SPX FLOW, Charlotte, N.C., developed the continuous butter making machine, which integrates cream pre-heating and buttermilk cooling and offers a high degree of remote or automatic control.
