Canadian dairy cooperative Agropur, Longueuil, Quebec, said its U.S. subsidiary,Trega Foods, purchased Green Meadows Foods, a cheese processor in Hull, Iowa.

Looking to increase its U.S. presence and boost its whey protein business, Arla Foods Amba, Viby, Denmark, said it agreed to a whey processing and marketing deal with Green Meadows Foods, LLC.
