The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), produced by the American Bakers Association (ABA), Washington, D.C., the Baking Equipment Manufacturers and Allied (BEMA), Overland Park, Kan., and the Retail Bakers of America (RBA), Tinley Park, Ill., announced an exclusive global marketing partnership with iba, Germany, organized by GHM on behalf of the German Bakers’ Confederation.

IBIE 2019 is expected to connect close to 1,000 exhibiting companies with more than 23,000 baking professionals from all over the globe.

According to the report, total bread and baked goods sales surpassed $59 billion in 2018, split between the fresh bakery department and items located in the grocery, frozen and dairy departments.

Valley Cooperative Association members consist of bakers, millers and allied companies.

This initiative seeks to build on each organization’s strengths to achieve a stronger future together.
