ConAgra Foods said its Lamb Weston foodservice potato and appetizer business will build a "state-of-the-art environmentally friendly" food plant near Delhi, La., to process frozen sweet potato fries.

Nice Blends Corp., a processor of frozen sweet potato fries, fried chicken breading and salt-and-pepper packets, expects by August to move from Bronx, N.Y., to Whiteville, N.C.
